Hi everyone, Here's an excellent vintage, and mostly *original circa 1957 / late fifties Hofner Model 450 Archtop Electric Acoustic guitar in original tobacco sunburst finish. 16" wide at lower bout of body. Trapeze tailpiece with Hofner logo visible on lower bout of the body near the 'F' hole. Venetian cutaway provides easy access to upper registers of the frets. Rosewood fingerboard. Triple dot fingerboard markers with zero fret. Fascia less headstock as opposed to ones with logo later on. Elevated fingerboard design. Floating Hofner Type 503 pickup circa 1957 or later. Guitar sounds warm and clear through the stock pickup. Acoustically, it's loud and balanced at the same time. It's recently been professionally setup and serviced, and has the Elixir Optimax 10-46 nickel steel strings set installed as part of the job. Comes with its all original green interior OHSC as shown (except for a newly custom- made replacement brown genuine leather handle). *Kindly be informed that the first 4 frets of this guitar appears to have been replaced (refretted) previously. It plays fine. If you need more photos of this section, kindly please request for it. The original B string tuner's ferrule is missing (as shown in the photos here). Here's a stupendous vintage archtop guitar from the 1950s for your kind consideration.
Thank you.
